Remobilization of Storage Nitrogen in Young Pear Trees Grafted onto Vigorous Rootstocks (Pyrus betulifolia)

چکیده
The remobilization of storage nitrogen (N) is affected by growth characteristics young pear trees. Aboveground parts trees grafted on P. betulifolia grew more vigorously than that dwarfing rootstocks. Therefore, the N within vigorous rootstocks may be different from A 15N tracing experiment, including six groups one-year-old in 2016, was conducted to investigate mobilization 2016 2018. Results indicated about 44%, 31.4% and 24.6% remobilized new derived trunk, shoots roots, respectively. Most organs were supplied trunks shoots. About 82.2% withdrawn senescent leaves recovered trunk during autumn. aboveground played a important role roots cycling process However, as compared with rootstocks, due nutrient requirement parts.

Nitrogen distribution, remobilization and re-cycling in young orchard of non-bearing ‘Rocha’ pear trees
In newly planted orchards, special attention must be paid to fertilization to build up the permanent structure of the trees so that high yield and fruit quality can be reached later on. Nitrogen (N) plays a major role in the fertilization plan, although few studies have assessed its use efficiency in young nonbearing trees, especially in field conditions. In this work, 1–3 years old ‘Rocha’ pea...

of carbon and nitrogen in forest trees and affect growth responses to elevated carbon dioxide concentration ([CO2]). We investigated these effects in oak saplings (Quercus robur L.) exposed for two years to ambient or twice ambient [CO2] in combination with low(LN, 0.6 mmol N l) or high-nitrogen (HN, 6.1 mmol N l) fertilization. Autumn N retranslocation efficiency from senescing leaves was less...
متن کاملEvaluation of Pyrus and Quince Rootstocks for High Density Pear Orchards
High density planting systems are a prerequisite to economise the use of land and labour costs of orchards. Dwarfing rootstocks controlling the vigour of the scion cultivars form the basis for such orchards (Wertheim and Webster, 2005). In the Netherlands, rootstock research is limited to and focussed on testing rootstocks selected abroad. For the Dutch pear growers the main selection criteria ...
متن کاملTolerance to iron chlorosis in non-grafted quince seedlings and in pear grafted onto quince plants
Grafting is a technique that may affect plant tolerance to iron chlorosis in plants cultivated for their fruit. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the tolerance of non-grafted quince seedlings and pear grafted onto quince plants cultivated in pots with alkaline soil. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the University of Cordoba, Spain, in pots (3 L) filled with a...
متن کاملNitric oxide ameliorates salinity tolerance in Pyrodwarf pear (Pyrus communis) rootstocks by regulating polyamine content
Nitric oxide (NO), an endogenous signaling molecule, is involved in various physiological processes and stress responses in plants. In the present research, Pyrodwarf pear (Pyrus communis) rootstocks were grown by nutrient solution to investigate the effects of sodium nitroprusside (SNP) application as an NO donor at 0, 0.1, 0.5, and 1 mM levels on plant stress tolerance, content of ma...
